BIOGRAPHY
Wendy has been performing since the age of 9 her first performance was Annie for McDonalds and she hasn't stopped working since. She has appeared on television and stage, toured the western United States, worked with Patti La Belle, Bette Midler, AR Rahman, Paula Abdul, Lizzie West, director George C. Wolfe, penned her debut album Whendae, "Unusual Way" and is currently working on her second album Heera in the Raw ~ A Global Pop record - Western Pop with Indian Rhythms, sounds and musing. Her song Dreams on Fire produced and co-written by AR Rahman is featured on the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack. Wendy is a prolific songwriter collaborating with artists & projects including, Hindi Films, Kailasa, Hipnotribe (Indian Rock band), Momo (Morrocan Rock Aritst) and many others.
Introduced to Speech Level Singing by Seth Riggs, Wendy has trained with and worked beside him for 23 years, believing in the SLS technique and it's ability to enhance and support an artist to the greatest potential. Wendy is a member of the IMT -- training teachers in the SLS Certification program. Her clients include platinum selling artist Nancy Sinatra, Regina Spektor, Matt White, Nicole Atkins, Suzie Q. Wendy has been an instructor of voice at UCLA, Lab School NYC, and has led Master classes in Technique and Performance worldwide.
