BIOGRAPHY
Gavin is a student of music, movement, and performing arts and has been working as a professional instructor for nearly a decade. In the spirit of the japanese term "sensei" meaning teacher (literally translated as "one who has gone before") he seeks to bring the experience he has aquired to share with students whom are new to the path. Through the artistic and disciplined practice of music the individual seeks to know his/herself more deeply - learning to express an inner creativity and find their own unique voice - and to then share it with others.
"Seek first to understand, and then to be understood."
Gavin brings this same philosophy to his own music and is active as a writer and performer, as well as with his band writing, recording, and performing music locally.
