BIOGRAPHY
Group lessons are affordable, fun and a great way to meet new people–and to just maybe give you that little nudge to keep practicing. Our next session is for adult beginners and will cover posture, holding the violin and bow, basic technique, scales and fun music. You do not need to know anything about the violin or music to attend this class–it is for absolute newcomers.
I'd like to emphasize the word fun–even if you've had a bad time with lessons in the past, just forget about that and take this class! We all have a good time making music and you probably won't even notice that every lesson is designed to build your skills methodically and thoroughly. While you're at home, you can access helpful info and pictures, fingerings, sound clips and exercises from the "students' area" of our web site, as well as receive occasional e-mails with tips for improving your playing. Students, when ready, may participate in regularly scheduled recitals that are held throughout the year.
For more information, class schedule, fees, etc., please visit my web site at StringSchool or contact me via this web site.
HAVE EXPERIENCE?
If you have had lessons in the past, you may be able to join a more experienced class that is in already in session. Please feel free to write and briefly describe your experience, from there we can see if there is a class near your level of playing that you can visit. Please write for more info or visit my web site at StringSchool.
HAVE YOU BEEN IN CLASSES BEFORE? If you've had these classes before and have taken some time off, get involved again! There are always possibilities, just be in touch and we'll find a class that's near where you currently are or where you last left off, there is also more information about ongoing classes for students with experience at my web site StringSchool. Keep going! Please write for more info or visit my web site at StringSchool.
