BIOGRAPHY
Hsiao-Chien Chou received Bachelor of Music degree from University of Miami, and Currently finishing up the Master degree at University of Miami. During the past two years, she has received scholarship for the master studies, summer camp at Salzburg, Austria and also won an honorable mention for a concerto competition in Dec. 2007. She teaches all levels of voice students. Also, she teaches piano and music theory.
Hsiao-Chien Chou has sung in many opera productions at UM, such as "The Mikado", "The Magic Flute", "Gianni Schicchi", "The Small Change" etc. And also a lot of opera scenes.
As she was in University Chorale at the University of Miami with Dr. Scheibe, she has sung the Beethoven No. 9 with Cleveland Orchestra and performed in the ACDA.
She has been a voice teacher and vocal coach/accompanist at University of Miami.
She also teaches music theory, especially the beginners.
