BIOGRAPHY
Sean Behrens is a versatile guitarist specializing in classical guitar. Mr. Behrens has had a varied career performing and teaching, first in the Denver area then in Austin, TX. Mr. Behrens earned a Bachelors Degree in Guitar Performance from Colorado State Univ. in 1996 under Masa Ito and a Masters in 2001 from the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music under Ricardo Iznaola. In addition to his classical playing, Mr. Behrens records with a studio band made up of former band-mates called Q Factor. Currently they are writing all new original material set for recording this summer, Mr. Behrens forms the guitar half of the Chanterelle Duo which performs around the Central Texas Area. Mr. Behrens spends most of his time running his teaching studio which specializes in teaching young children using the Suzuki Method. Mr. Behrens also enjoys teaching teens and adults.
