BIOGRAPHY
Profile
I have a doctoral level education and teach all ages and all levels.
Biography
I have 30 years of teaching experience, and 40 years of performance experience. I have taught at several universities, as well as privately. My credentials include the Music Faculty Award for Distinguished Musicianship presented by the Dept. of Music at Texas A & M University, where I received my Masters in Piano Performance. I traveled to England on scholarship to participate in the 1976 International String & Art Workshop, and also had the honor of playing for Aaron Copland around the same time. I also traveled to Indonesia a few years before that to do a television special. I have been the first place winner in numerous piano competitions, often soloing with orchestras such as the San Bernadino Symphony Orchestra, and the Brentwood Symphony Orchestra. I have also given extensive solo recitals, many which feature my own piano compositions. I spend my free time composing and recording my own piano music (for sale on line), while enjoying teaching all ages and levels from age 4 to adults.
