BIOGRAPHY
Ms. Thompson earned both a Master’s degree in flute performance and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, in New York, where she studied with Samuel Baron and Keith Underwood. She also studied baroque flute in Amsterdam, Netherlands with Jed Wentz, and received certification in the Suzuki Flute Method from founder Toshio Takahashi. She presently enjoys performing and teaching throughout the United States and Europe. Ms. Thompson resides in Manhattan, where she maintains a large teaching studio.
