BIOGRAPHY
After dedicating several years studying voice at the university level I realized that my voice was in worse shape than when I'd begun. Not only was I frustrated that the things I'd learned were not working for classical style, but they didn't seem applicable to other styles of music I was interested in either. From there I began my search for someone who could answer my vocal questions and help me to understand how my own voice functioned. Nine years ago that search ended with SLS and I have been learning and teaching since then.
I've also been able to pass on that knowledge not only through teaching privately but through choral directing (classical and gospel) and through vocal workshops.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice from the University of Victoria (Vancouver Island, Canada)
Level 3 Certification, Speech Level Singing
