BIOGRAPHY
I am a retired Instrumental Public School K-12 Music Teacher, who now teaches privately in the New Haven CT area. I majored in Trumpet and minored in Cello in under graduate school and at the master degree level. I spent 23 years teaching in SC and CT. Due to being cut from public school teaching and being to high on the salery schedule I have not been able to find another public school assignment, so I have focused on only private student instruction for the last 3 years.
I am 54 yrs old and I started a studio at home where I can teach over the Internet and I have state of the art equipment to do so.
I am looking forward to the new ways of teaching over the net and if you live in the New Haven CT area I will come to your home for lessons.
EDUCATION
1988 – 1993 Completed 30 Graduate credits in the Music Education Program at the University of Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut
1986 Awarded K-12 Certification to teach K-12.
1980 – 1982 Bachelor of Arts: Music Education Major, Miami University, Oxford Ohio in addition to obtaining a scholarship
1973 – 1977 Music Education Major , Kent State University, Kent, Ohio
