BIOGRAPHY
My name is Kellie Thuman, I am a voice teacher living in the town of Queen Anne, MD. I am excited to work with enthusiastic students who are interested in taking voice lessons. I studied voice under Kyle Engler at McDaniel College and earned a B.A. in vocal performance in 1999. I was the resident voice teacher at the Queen Anne's County Arts Council and the music director of a major Triple Threat Theater production at Chesapeake College. I taught individual lessons as well as group workshops to kids ranging in age from 8 to 18 before deciding to start a family with my husband in 2006. I have been singing professionally in and around the Baltimore area for 15 years performing at church and community events. I even had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a couple Orioles games. I have a classical teaching approach which I believe has the versatility to translate into many different styles.
I am very excited to start teaching again! I'll begin to take students in March. I have listed my availability and rates. I would love to schedule a time to talk with you at your earliest convenience!
