BIOGRAPHY
Jordan has been the recipient of multiple first prizes in competition at the National Association of Teachers of Singing, including the Berta Autenrieth award for Most Promising Singer. He competed in the Metropolitan National Council Auditions, and was selected as a featured soloist in concert with acclaimed international classical recording artist Roger Vignoles.
Jordan has performed with opera and musical theatre companies across the United States, including the Utah Festival Opera Company, North Shore Musical Theatre, and Glimmerglass Opera in New York to name a few. Additionally, Jordan has starred in the regional tour of Michael McLean’s classic Christmas musical The Forgotten Carols for several seasons. As a concert artist, Jordan has performed and continues to perform extensively in solo engagements across the United States. Along with his career on stage, Jordan is a successful recording artist. He has produced two solo albums which have been nominated for multiple awards at the FCMA Pearl Awards, including the nomination for “Best Male Artist of the Year.” He has also recorded with numerous other artists, and continues to be sought for his ability in the recording studio.
Jordan has spent the last year developing teaching studios in Las Vegas and Phoenix where he trains singers in the technique that has brought him vocal health, power and flexibility throughout his professional career. His combination of knowledge, training and performing experience enables Jordan to address the concerns of singers at any level, and help them achieve their best singing. He loves helping his students find the power of their own voice and giving them the ability to choose how they want to use it.
EDUCATION
Jordan has studied Speech Level Singing for three years with Jeffrey Skouson, who is one of only eight members worldwide of the elite SLS Instructor Management Team. He has also had the pleasure of working with internationally renowned voice instructor Seth Riggs, founder of Speech Level Singing. Before studying SLS, Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance after extensive training in classical-style singing at the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Additionally, Jordan has trained and performed in vocal jazz, oratorio, opera, musical theatre, pop, sacred, and choral styles.
