BIOGRAPHY
Autumn Voakes currently teaches at American Music Institute in Hinsdale and St. Charles, Illinois. She is a founding member of American Music Institute, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and has over 8 years of private lesson teaching experience in both the United States and Europe. Classically trained, Ms. Voakes has performed with a variety of orchestras including the Danish Royal Symphony, West Suburban Orchestra, Southwest Symphony, and the Illinois Philharmonic. Ms. Voakes is Suzuki certified, and combines a number of elements of teaching in both her traditional instruction curriculum and Suzuki instruction curriculum inlcuding ear training, music theory, aural skills, and cognitive development skills. Teaches all levels and ages, from 3 years old - Adult, from beginning to Advanced level players.
